Alexander Usborne                                Born 6th February 1855 in Marden, Kent. Baptised 2nd June 1861.in Marden Married 26th December 1875 at Wrotham to Emily Bennett (b.1875) He died April/June 1937 in the Maidstone district of Kent. Emily died July/September 1949 in the Chatham region of Kent.

Alexander was raised in Marden and became an orphan at the age of 12. In 1871 he was living in Marden listed as a shoe-maker. He moved to Wrotham, Kent between 1871 and 1877, married a local girl and changed from Usborne to Osborne.. They had at least nine children. Alexander was working as a shoe-maker in 1879 and thereafter as a carpenter. They lived at 1 Court Lane, Wrotham. By 1891 they had moved to 65 Clive Rd, Rochester where Alexander got a job with H.M. Dockyards as a joiner. By 1914 he was back in Wrotham. Alexander and Emily were married for 61 years. Research Craig Brown.
