Tim Usborne is a television producer and director, currently mainly making science documentaries. His most recent film, "Atom" a history of atomic physics, is to be broadcast on the BBC this year.  He produces and directs interactive drama. He lives with his partner in North London. He also runs a mobile phone application company  (www.wiretown.tv) (see below).

A newly formed mobile phone development company, called Wiretown, has developed an unusual mobile TV application. The company's co-founders are Jon Lazarus, and producer, Tim Usborne.  "We're using the technology within mobile phones to detect subtle electrical changes around the user that some experts say are associated with paranormal activity," Usborne explained. "In other words, the phone will become a 'paranormal detector' and provide the viewer with a unique and engaging way to interact with TV programmes."           February 2006
